Bowery Gallery 2023 Invitational Exhibitions

The Bowery Gallery, Chelsea,
New York City has exhibition opportunities for summer 2023.
We have two slots available:  June 20 – July 8 and July 11 – July 29. Artists and artist groups living in the U.S. are invited to apply. Students are not eligible.

The gallery's exhibition space measures about 900 square feet, which can either be configured as a single rectangle or divided by a moveable partition to accommodate a two-person exhibition. There is an adjoining bathroom and elevator. Gallery hours are 11 a.m. to 6 p.m., Tuesday through Saturday.

The cost to the artist is $4,500 for the use of the whole gallery space and $2,500, for each half space. This covers:
• Gallery staffing
• Listings in Art in America's Chelsea Art Guide and artguide.pro
• Space for announcement display in gallery building lobby
• Gallery mailing list of over 1,000 preaddressed mailing labels
• All ongoing gallery expenses: electricity, rent, and telephone

State law requires artists to collect and remit to the NY State Tax Department 8.875% sales tax on all in-state sales delivered to Connecticut and New Jersey.
